A 750 Norton Commando twin, claimed to be bog-stock but for a handlebar fairing and optional 24-tooth countershaft sprocket. A few months later another carefully prepped Norton Roadster.

Two modifications differentiate the 1971 Commando from the first one. The cross-member underneath the engine has been moved forward slightly to facilitate quick removal of the sump cap. And the trail has been reduced by half an inch, to correspond with Norton's successful 750-cc production racers. This has been done with new fork crowns.
